From June 27 to July 3, the 9th Online Training for New Internatioanl Principals was successfully held by Shenmo Education Headquarters. Seven new Shenmo principals from Togo, Mali, Namibia and Botswana participated in the 7-day training together.
6月27日至7月3日,由神墨总部组织的第九期线上国际新校长培训成功举办。来自多哥、马里、纳米比亚、博茨瓦纳的7名新神墨校长共同参加了此次培训。

The new principals participating in this training are all new international principals who joined Shenmo in this June and July. Meanwhile, they are also international students who graduated from China, who will start up their own Shenmo Abacus Mental Math School in their home country after returning home. The four countries will be the four new countries that Shenmo enters in the development of African market. So far, Shenmo has developed to 13 countries in East Africa, West Africa, North Africa and South Africa.
参加此次培训的新校长,都是6-7月加入神墨的新国际校长,同时他们也是在中国毕业的留学生,将在回国后在祖国当地创业加盟神墨珠心算学校。这将是神墨在非洲发展进程中新加入的4个国家。至此,神墨在非洲已经发展到位于东非、西非、北非、南非的13个国家。

I want to say to Shenmo that, you did well to invite Africa into your franchise because you will be well represented.

I’m really excited. I thought myself this can be a platform for me to make money, or to learn something new because I really want to learn about something along the line of entrepreneurship. But now when I started to train this abacus, I realized that this abacus is a legacy for my children.

Shenmo teachers have been teaching us that abacus mental math learning journey is more psychological than just giving kids educational values. In the past 7 days, it’s quite psychological for me because, even if I did homework on time, I struggled with persistence. So, I started to question myself that how am I going to teach kids to be persistent when I’m struggling with it myself. So, those psychological parts you taught us was practical for me in these past 7 days. So, all the other value that comes with the concept, I believe that it can be practical. Somehow it changed a few things in my mind, and a few things in me. So, I’m really grateful and I believe it can change other teachers too.
神墨老师一直在教导我们,珠算心算学习的过程不仅仅是给孩子们带来教育意义,更是对他们心智的培养。在过去的7天里,我感受到了这种心智的培养。因为即使我按时做作业,我也要与自己的毅力作斗争。所以我开始问自己,当我自己也在挣扎的时候,我该如何教会孩子们坚持下去。所以,在过去的7天里,培训对我心智方面的影响对我来说很实际。因为亲身体会到这种心智的影响,珠心算理念中提到的其他价值,我也相信会是真的。不知怎么的,它改变了我的一些想法,也可以说改变了我。所以,我真的很感激,我相信这种改变其他老师也会感受到。

We came to China to take something that we don’t have in our countries. This is one of the valuable things that we are going to bring to Africa. I want to tell the teachers and principals who have taken the training to be proud of yourselves, because you represent the first people in your countries taking back this program which will improve not only the skills of the children but also improve their own way of working consistently.
我们来到中国,是为了学习并且带回去我们国家没有的东西。而珠心算,无疑是我们给非洲带回去的有价值的东西之一。我想告诉参加培训的老师和校长们,你们应该为自己感到骄傲,因为你们代表了你们国家第一批将珠心算带回去的人,这个课程将不仅提高孩子们的技能,还将不断改善他们自己的学习方式。
